St. Thomas Remembers

The New Testament informs us that The Resurrection of Jesus was not immediately understood by the disciples…or anyone else. They spent forty days with Him, watched Him “ascend into Heaven” and even then they didn’t comprehend The Gospel. But on Pentecost they were baptized with the Holy Spirit and they finally understood. Thomas was the “seeing is believing” disciple. But he wanted to see the Kingdom of David, not the Kingdom of God. So he had a difficult time seeing what he saw. Word Count: 794
