Good morning, Father!
Good morning, Jesus!
Good morning Holy Spirit!
Romans 12:1-2 Heavenly Father, according to your Word, I present my body as a living sacrifice holy and acceptable in your sight. Let my behavior conform to your model, Jesus, and not to the world around me.
Isaiah 61:3 & Colossians 3:12 As I prepare to face the world, Father, anoint my hair with the oil of your joy. Clothe me with compassion and humility. Cover me with a garment of praise for you and, as a garland of beauty, give me loving smile.
Ephesians 6:14-18 For strength to resist the devil’s tactics – to help me stand firm – I buckle the belt of truth around my waist and wear righteousness as my breastplate. My shoes are the readiness to spread the gospel of peace. My faith is my shield: with it I can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Salvation is my helmet; and I take up the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. I am ready to pray in the Spirit for all occasions.
Galatians 5:22-25 Let me walk through this day keeping in step with the Holy Spirit, producing the fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Thank You, Lord God, for this beautiful day. Lord, I praise you for all the blessings You have given to me. Help me to share your Love with those I meet today. Please watch over my family and my friends today.
Again, Lord, Good Morning, and thank you for this beautiful day.
Amen.
When you’re running late:
Good Morning, Father! Good Morning Jesus!, Good Morning, Holy Spirit!
Lord God, please dress me today, anointing me with the Oil of Your Joy, covering me with a Garment of Praise and as a Garland of Beauty, please place a smile on my face. Also, Lord God, please protect me from the evil one by dressing me in Your Armor: the Belt of Truth, the Breastplate of Righteousness, shoes the spread the Gospel, the Helmet of Salvation, the Shield of Faith and the Sword of the Spirit. Please, Lord, help me to remember to pray in every occasion. And finally, Lord, help me to produce your fruit: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-Control.
Thank you, Lord God, for this beautiful day.
Thank you for protecting my family and friends.
Amen.

NOTES:
Isaiah 61:3 is translated in a variety of ways. Some use “crown” while others use “garland”. Other translations are much different. Most reference “beauty”. Don’t let that confuse you. This prayer was assembled from Scripture.
Colossians 3:12 lists what some call “God’s underwear.” Compassion and Humility are included in that list, but not in Fruit of the Spirit from Galatians, chapter 5.
This is a short version of the “Armor of God” prayer. There are longer versions. So far as I know, no one has a copyright on it. If you add to it and feel led to share, please do so. We, the Body, will benefit from sharing. You may add a comment below.
